We are on our 3rd set of these slides. They make loading our Lund 2150 Baron a piece of cake. Never had a problem, even in rough water. Wouldn't go a day without them. We have had a few crack over the years from use and weather. We highly recommend them.

Does what it is suppose to do. Easy to install, no problems. As long as you don't use power drill and tighten too tight, you will never have a problem.

Glad I bought them. Shipping was quick also.

Pros:
  • Easy to install.
  • Did not require carpet.
  • Ordering was easy.
  • Shipping was fast.
  • Worth the Price.
  • Made boating fun again.
Cons:
Two improvements I made to the trailer improved loading and unloading the boat considerably. One is the Ironwood Pacific product EZ Slide. The launch ramps at the lake I fish are what I consider shallow which required me to back the trailer farther into the water than I would like. I could not load the boat by myself without wadding into 50 degree water.

I took new 2X4's to change out the bunks, the EZ Slide Kit and tools to the boat ramp. I Launched and tied off the boat, parked the truck and trailer and went to work. The job only required a few tools - cordless drill, Phillips screw driver, socket set and drill bits. I left enough space between the sections if more were needed. The kit recommended for the length of my bunks proved to be enough. I only intended to do the installation on this trip but once in the water I decided to wet a line. On the 4th cast I hooked and nice 4 lb, or so, Small Mouth. I Returned to the ramp and boating became a whole new experience.

I am still improving the procedure but I can now keep the back of the truck just out of the water so I do not have to get my feet wet. With new side guide bunks I can line up the boat and it glides up the support bunks, EZ Sides, with the greatest of ease, All I have to do is reach over and attach the hook with less of the aft in the water. I can climb over the bow and off the trailer tongue without getting my feet wet. With only a couple of cranks it is locked into the front roller and the boat comes out of the water correctly aligned the first time.

It was never fun loading with a strong cross wind but it is much much easier with the addition of the EZ Slides. This is not my first boat but the first I installed EZ Slides to the trailer. If I get another boat the first item to improve it will be EZ Slides

Pros:
Cons:
I needed some of these slides to go on my bunks due to light saltwater use and didnt want my aluminum boat sitting on saltwater soaked bunks. Easy to apply but make sure you leave your boat attached to the trailer until it's in the water. Had the 1st test run last night and the boat slides off like crap out of a goose!!! Great product at a great price!!!

My pontoon has five tubes and four contact carpeted bunks. Too much friction for easy launching. Glides work well and I don't have to back the trailer as far into the water.

EASY FIX

Pros:
  • Easy fix.
Cons:
  • Can't use on painted boats... why?
Easy installation in parking lot at the State Park while my boat was docked at the marina. Many people stopped by to see what I was doing and liked the idea. When finally installed I was LITERALLY able to pull my heavy boat onto the trailer with one hand using the bow rope. Make sure the boat is snug on the trailer when motoring because it will move around a bit..... but that is a minor problem.

Pros:
  • Easy to install
  • high quality
  • works
Cons:
  • Package should include bunk ends
Product is of very high quality and is simple to install. The bunk enders are essential and should be sold as part of the package. Well worth the money. Makes launching my 18' duck boat in shallow landings easy.
