Looked everywhere trying to find these casting fish for my son who lost one off of the neighbor’s kid Shakespeare rod. They came very quick and my neighbor’s son was so happy to receive them
These are perfect for the beginning caster. They can also train the intermediate caster the importance of aiming the cast. Solid product!
Casting plugs are difficult to come by in bulk, and I appreciate their availability here at a reasonable price. The line does not pull out as with some softer plastic products.
They are solid quality. Just enough weight for a child to practice effective casting. The bright orange makes it easy to see how far and where they cast it.
The hard plastic quality of this product allows it to last. The tail feature might make the plug less accurate than the standard casting plug, but a little randomness when using with kids levels the playing field. I will be purchasing more. I also like the color for when they do fly off.
It is surprisingly hard to find replacement casting plugs. My daughter had a small toddler fishing rod that came with a fish shaped casting plug. This unfortunately broke off and it has been near impossible to find another one, until I found these. I had previously seen the entire casting set on amazon, but not the plugs themselves. These work PERFECTLY for replacement casting plugs and are very cheap. They are an appropriate weight and size to allow my 2yo to "fish" with mom and dad, and are very durable.
Perfect for our kids’ fishing poles. The original casting plugs had broken off. These were a great replacement at a very reasonable price.

High quality and rugged construction. Can be used on ANY surface. Plastic casting plugs cracked or broke off on hard surfaces, and easily tangled on tree branches, but Ironwood Pacific Fish keep on going! They are Scout Proof. We use the Fish Plugs and Bass targets for Boy Scout fishing merit badge practice and the scouts can't get enough! Bass fishing on land has become an all time favorite game! Nothing else comes close to Fish Plugs and Yard Bass for playing your way to casting mastery.
