This product works as advertised. I have a 40 hp Mercury. I am able to get trolling speed down to 1.2 mph. The product is easy to engage and disengage. I had a question and called customer service and they were very helpful. I am happy with the product.

Recently upgraded boats and needed a trolling plate. The previous one I had was a Cabela's. Had it crack, break, replaced several pairs that were hard to get. This plate is well built,works great and was less money than my old one. Shipped from Oregon to Michigan in 4 days. Very pleased. I would recommend to anyone.
