I have a 2016 2.3 Honda outboard. The extension handle worked perfect. It stays snug on top of the regular handle and it did not interfere with the throttling motion.

I ordered the short extension handle for my Mercury troller, but the extension handle was too large to grip the tiller... I contacted the company through the website, received a response within MINUTES, and the fix is on it's way. Awesome service !!

Perfect Tool for my Bow Mounted Transom Trolling Motor

Pros:

  • sturdy
  • well thought out
Cons:

I have a hand operated 55 LB thrust trolling motor designed for a transom but mounted on the bow of my 14' jon boat. Using this extension handle allows me to operate the troller from anywhere in the front part of the boat. Perfect solution for a problem and the tool is not only well designed but sturdy enough to hold up to rough use. I love finding elegant solutions to problems like this and wholeheartedly endorse this product.

sneak boat tiller

Since I'm so damn busy with the snow blower, I've not had a chance to use the boat and not even open the tiller box. If you ever design a remote tiller for a snowblower, please let me know and I'll be the first to buy one.

Great product. Works as advertised. Very simple to attach and use. Seems to be very well made. Could not find any details on weather/rust resistance so am hoping that it stands up to the elements.
