This is a great tool for teaching kids how to cast and retrieve fish! We typically add fish pictures to the plastic fish to allow the kids to identify fish as well.

Took Backyard Bass to an adult training event and used it for a presentation, and it was a hit. Everyone wanted to try it. I got it to teach youth and adults in scouting. I even had seasoned fishermen come over and try it. Great product

Hi,

I recently used the back yard bass educator pack, at an event in a state park to teach kids how to cast and to know the joy of catching fish. The kids were toddler to about 12 years old, you would have thought they were catching real fish. Once they got the hang of casting, they had so much fun catching the fish. This is a great learning tool and fun for everyone.

THANK YOU,

WONDERFUL Product. I saw them at a Texas Parks And Wildlife expo and fell in love with the product. I am teaching a Wildlife class to JR. High students and the kids love to fish for this product. Thank you for the fast service.

Great for learning to cast and fight fish without being on the water. Fish are indestructible. The Virginia National Wild Turkey Federation uses the Backyard Bass to teach fishing, when water is not available at our outdoor events.

Purchased this set for my 4-H members. Kids from 4th-12th grades LOVE it! We set up teams and it makes a great timed competition that all ages and skill levels enjoy.

Vermont's Let's Go Fishing Program (LGF)purchased enough Backyard Bass to put into totes that will be traveling around the state and used by LGF instructors as they teach kids and their families the importance of aquatic ecology and fishing. The Bass are always a draw at LGF events and kids enjoy practicing their casting skills trying to "catch" one. We put various fish identification stickers on the back of the Bass, so when a kid "catches" a fish, he/she has to find out if it is a keeper by looking in the law digest. These Bass are a hit at every LGF clinic we hold!

These are great for teaching children how to cast a fishing pole safely. We had borrowed a set to use in a lake association children's camp and this year decided we wanted to own a set. Very easy to use and you can switch the weighted fake plug with a real hook when the time comes. Kids love trying to "catch" the fish even when they already know how to cast. Very reasonable price and durable.Thanks.
